Community Table Booking Form

Guidelines and terms of use:

  • Non-profit groups can book the table free of charge. Preference is given to Richmond based groups.
  • Available hours are Mon-Fri 10 AM – 8 PM and weekends 11 AM – 4 PM.
  • Promotional material and signage text must include an English translation if another language is used.
  • The Library will provide a maximum of one 6-foot table and two chairs.
  • Free standing display banner can be accommodated (no larger than 3’ wide and 8’ high).
  • Tables must be staffed by your organization and presented in a professional fashion.
  • Group must wear identification that clearly indicates name of organization and of the individual.
  • Display or stationary supplies cannot be provided by the Library.
  • Cancellation by your organization is requested 48 hours in advance, if possible.
  • Applications are approved on a first come- first served basis.
  • Every effort will be made to accommodate requests but the Library reserves the right to decline or cancel requests depending on operational needs of the library.
  • Your organization agrees not to contravene the Criminal Code of Canada and the Human Rights Act of British Columbia.

This form will help us with your community table booking request. The community table is an opportunity for Richmond community groups to inform community members about the services and programs they offer. The community table is a place for the community to discover services in Richmond they may not have been aware of. If your booking is approved, a staff member will get back to you with further details within five working days.
